He graduated with a first class degree in civil engineering from Imperial College, London. He currently practises as a Chartered Civil Engineer.Masood Chowdhury has been studying the Islamic sciences for a number of years, with particular emphasis on the Qur'an, which included a period of two years in Egypt. He is fluent in Arabic and is currently studying for a degree in Shariah in the Arabic medium.
